Imports into Japan generally attract consumption tax, and duty depends on the customs classification of the goods. We prepare complete commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin for smooth clearance; your customs broker confirms the exact duties and taxes for your shipment.
The pods are wired for connection by your electrician to the local supply, with lighting, ventilation and power points pre-installed to a single connection point. Tell us the destination at order time and we configure the electrical package accordingly; a licensed Japanese electrician completes the hook-up on site.
Allow about 3 weeks for manufacturing plus ≈4–6 weeks door-to-door by sea from Jebel Ali to Tokyo, Yokohama or Osaka, including customs clearance and final delivery. We confirm the schedule with your order and update you at each stage.
Yes — many Japanese buyers start with a single SoloKabin™ or DuoKabin™ as an evaluation unit, then move to multi-unit or container orders. Single units ship in the same container-ready packaging, and evaluation feedback can flow into custom spec for the volume order.
