In brief
Factory-direct, not freight-forwarded.
Converting a bedroom costs a bedroom; an extension costs a year. A work pod for home is the third option: a finished, soundproofed office that stands inside an existing room and comes with everything built in — light, air, power, acoustic privacy to −35 dB. Delivered to Norway door-to-door from the factory that builds it.
Most home buyers choose the SoloKabin™ for its one-floor-tile footprint; the DuoKabin™ suits shared home offices or recording/streaming setups. Both are reversible — no fixings into the house — and carry a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
Home office pods
A room within a room — no builders required.
5-year warranty
Manufacturer-backed, with parts shipped from our factory and support on video call.
One plug
Power, USB and lighting run from a single connection to a normal household supply, connected by your electrician.
All-day comfort
Continuous silent ventilation and LED lighting — an eight-hour workday without stuffiness.
No permits, no construction
Freestanding and reversible: nothing is fixed to the house, so there is nothing to approve, and it moves home when you do.

FAQ
Work pod for home in Norway — questions, answered.
No — the pod's lighting, ventilation and outlets run from a single connection point that an electrician connects to a standard household circuit, typically in under an hour.
The SoloKabin™ needs a 1250 × 1250 mm footprint and 2300 mm of ceiling height — it fits most living rooms, garages and lofts, and its panels pass through standard doorways for assembly in place. The larger DuoKabin™ (2200 × 1250 mm) suits garages and open-plan spaces.
They solve different problems. A garden room needs groundwork, weatherproofing, power trenching and often a permit, and it stays behind when you move. An indoor pod installs in a day inside space you already heat and own, needs no permission, and relocates with you.
Every pod carries a 5-year product warranty honoured directly by Ikabin as the manufacturer. Spare parts ship from our Dubai factory to your address, and our English-speaking engineers support your team by video call and WhatsApp.
