In brief
Factory-direct, not freight-forwarded.
A workstation pods is the fastest way to add a quiet room to a workplace: it arrives as a finished product, not a construction project. Position it, connect power through a single point, and it is ready the same day — lighting, ventilation and acoustic insulation included. Because Ikabin is the manufacturer, not a reseller, the spec you approve is the spec that ships to the United Kingdom.
Choose the SoloKabin™ for calls and focus work, the DuoKabin™ for one-to-ones and small meetings, or the TeamKabin™ for a full meeting room. All three share the same engineering: tempered acoustic glass, steel-alloy frame, −35 dB speech privacy and a 5-year warranty, built in 3 weeks in our Dubai factory and exported to the United Kingdom with full documentation.
Soundproof office pods
Why teams buy a pod instead of building a room.
5-year manufacturer warranty
Backed by the factory that built it, with spare parts shipped from Dubai and engineers on video call.
Any RAL colour
Standard finishes ship fastest, but every pod can be finished in any RAL colour — or white-labelled for dealers.
Moves with your office
Unlike drywall, a pod is an asset, not a leasehold improvement. Relocate it across the floor or across town when the office changes.
Ventilated and lit
Quiet ventilation exchanges the air continuously; LED lighting and power outlets are built in. One connection point powers everything.
The range
Three pods, one acoustic standard.
| Pod | Capacity | External size | Acoustics | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SoloKabin™ | Phone booth · 1–2 people | 1250 × 1250 × 2300 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 15,000 ≈ $4,084 |
| DuoKabin™ | Meeting pod · up to 4 | 2200 × 1250 × 2300 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 20,000 ≈ $5,446 |

FAQ
Workstation pods in the United Kingdom — questions, answered.
Every pod delivers −35 dB speech-level reduction using tempered acoustic glass, an insulated steel-alloy structure and acoustic door seals. A normal conversation inside is reduced to a murmur outside — enough for confidential calls in an open-plan office.
Ikabin pods are factory-direct: the SoloKabin™ phone booth is AED 15,000 (≈ $4,084), the DuoKabin™ 4-person meeting pod AED 20,000 (≈ $5,446) and the TeamKabin™ 8-person meeting room AED 27,000 (≈ $7,352). Export orders are priced in USD with shipping quoted per address.
Pods arrive as panelised, container-ready units and are assembled and positioned on your floor. Your electrician connects a single power point — typically under an hour per pod — and the pod is ready to use the same day.
We quote in clear terms — typically DAP or similar — so the cost split is explicit before you order. Import duties and taxes are normally the buyer's responsibility; your customs broker can confirm the treatment for UAE-origin goods, and we supply every document they need.
Production takes 3 weeks from order confirmation in our Dubai factory. Shipping Jebel Ali, Dubai → Felixstowe / Southampton runs ≈4–6 weeks door-to-door. We confirm an exact estimate for your address with your quote.
