Choosing a pod
The best office pods, factory-direct in Norway.
The best office pod is the one with published specs. Ours are here — delivered to Norway from the factory.
- Built in 3 weeks
- −35 dB speech privacy
- 5-year warranty
In brief
Factory-direct, not freight-forwarded.
“Best office pods” lists are mostly affiliate roundups of the same five Western brands at dealer prices. A more useful comparison: spec against spec. Ikabin publishes its numbers — −35 dB speech-level reduction, tempered acoustic glass, steel-alloy structure, continuous ventilation, 1250 × 1250 mm to 2500 × 2000 mm footprints — and its prices, from $4,084 factory-direct, typically a half to a quarter of comparable dealer-channel pods to Norway.
What you give up buying factory-direct from Dubai is a local showroom (we offset that with live video factory tours and a Dubai showroom you can visit). What you gain is the manufacturer's price, the manufacturer's warranty, and a spec that is the build standard rather than a brochure line.
Choosing a pod
The five tests of a serious office pod.
A price without a chain in it
Factory-direct from $4,084. Dealer-channel equivalents commonly list at 2–4× for comparable specs.
Proof of work
470+ installations, photographed — not renders.
A lead time you can plan on
3 weeks from order to dispatch, from a factory production line — not “contact us for availability.”
A warranty the maker honours
5 years, backed by the factory itself, with parts shipped from Dubai — not a reseller pointing at a supplier.
The range
Three pods, one acoustic standard.
| Pod | Capacity | External size | Acoustics | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SoloKabin™ | Phone booth · 1–2 people | 1250 × 1250 × 2300 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 15,000 ≈ $4,084 |
| DuoKabin™ | Meeting pod · up to 4 | 2200 × 1250 × 2300 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 20,000 ≈ $5,446 |
| TeamKabin™ | Meeting room · up to 8 | 2500 × 2000 × 2250 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 27,000 ≈ $7,352 |

FAQ
Best office pods in Norway — questions, answered.
Yes — book a live video tour of our Dubai factory and watch a pod demonstrated in real time, or visit the showroom at Business Village, Block A, Dubai. Export clients receive full drawings and spec sheets before ordering.
By headcount: SoloKabin™ for calls and focus (1–2 people), DuoKabin™ for interviews and small meetings (up to 4), TeamKabin™ as a full meeting room (up to 8). A common starting mix is one booth per 10–15 desks plus one meeting pod per 25–30.
Five things: a dB figure for speech privacy (not just “soundproof”), continuous ventilation, a firm lead time, who actually honours the warranty, and whether the price includes delivery. Get all five in writing — we put them in every Ikabin quote.
We quote in clear terms — typically DAP or similar — so the cost split is explicit before you order. Import duties and taxes are normally the buyer's responsibility; your customs broker can confirm the treatment for UAE-origin goods, and we supply every document they need.
Production takes 3 weeks from order confirmation in our Dubai factory. Shipping Jebel Ali, Dubai → Oslo runs ≈5–6 weeks door-to-door. We confirm an exact estimate for your address with your quote.
