Choosing a pod
The best office pods, factory-direct in Germany.
The best office pod is the one with published specs. Ours are here — delivered to Germany from the factory.
- Built in 3 weeks
- −35 dB speech privacy
- 5-year warranty
In brief
Factory-direct, not freight-forwarded.
The best office pod for your office depends on three questions. Who is it for — calls (SoloKabin™), small meetings (DuoKabin™) or full meetings (TeamKabin™)? How quiet must it be — Ikabin's answer is −35 dB speech privacy on every model? And what should it cost — factory-direct, AED 15,000–27,000 (≈ $4,084–7,352), against dealer-channel equivalents at multiples of that to Germany.
Beyond the spec sheet: 3-week build time, container-ready export from Jebel Ali, 5-year manufacturer warranty, any RAL colour, and 470+ installations you can see photographed on this site.
Choosing a pod
The five tests of a serious office pod.
A warranty the maker honours
5 years, backed by the factory itself, with parts shipped from Dubai — not a reseller pointing at a supplier.
A lead time you can plan on
3 weeks from order to dispatch, from a factory production line — not “contact us for availability.”
Ventilation that runs all day
Continuous baffled airflow, quiet enough to forget — the difference between a pod that gets used and one that gets avoided.
A published acoustic number
If a pod page says “soundproof” without a dB figure, walk away. Ikabin: −35 dB speech-level reduction, every pod.
The range
Three pods, one acoustic standard.
| Pod | Capacity | External size | Acoustics | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SoloKabin™ | Phone booth · 1–2 people | 1250 × 1250 × 2300 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 15,000 ≈ $4,084 |
| DuoKabin™ | Meeting pod · up to 4 | 2200 × 1250 × 2300 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 20,000 ≈ $5,446 |
| TeamKabin™ | Meeting room · up to 8 | 2500 × 2000 × 2250 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 27,000 ≈ $7,352 |

FAQ
Best office pods in Germany — questions, answered.
The honest answer: the best pod is the one whose specs are published and verifiable — speech-level reduction in dB, ventilation type, dimensions, warranty terms and the real price. Ikabin publishes all five: −35 dB speech privacy, continuous baffled ventilation, three sizes from 1250 × 1250 mm, a 5-year manufacturer warranty and factory-direct prices from $4,084.
On published acoustic performance and build quality the specs are comparable — tempered acoustic glass, engineered structure, −35 dB-class speech privacy. The difference is the channel: Ikabin sells factory-direct from Dubai, so pricing is typically a half to a quarter of dealer-channel equivalents, with a 5-year warranty direct from the maker.
Five things: a dB figure for speech privacy (not just “soundproof”), continuous ventilation, a firm lead time, who actually honours the warranty, and whether the price includes delivery. Get all five in writing — we put them in every Ikabin quote.
Yes — single-unit export orders are welcome. Many clients pilot one pod and then scale to multi-pod or container orders; per-unit pricing improves with volume, but there is no minimum.
Yes. Pods ship with standard internal wiring for lighting, ventilation and outlets, terminating at a single connection point. Your electrician connects the pod to the building supply on site — typically under an hour per pod.
