Not Ikabin's: the −35 dB speech-privacy spec is identical to a fixed installation, because the sealing is engineered (compression seals) rather than caulked on site. Every pod is QC-checked in the factory before shipping.
The pod is built from factory-made panels — walls, glazing, roof, floor — that assemble into a sealed acoustic room. The same system lets you relocate the pod, replace a single panel if one is ever damaged, and ship the whole unit container-efficiently.
No. Pods are freestanding and self-ballasted — nothing is drilled into the building. That is what makes them portable, permit-free in most jurisdictions, and invisible to your lease's reinstatement clause.
