Backyard & garden offices
Outdoor work pod in Switzerland.

In brief
Factory-direct, not freight-forwarded.
A backyard build is a small construction project: planning rules, foundations, insulation, electrics trenched across the garden — months of work before the first quiet hour. A outdoor work pod search often ends with a simpler answer: a prefabricated pod placed indoors or under existing cover. Ikabin pods arrive finished — acoustic glass, insulated steel-alloy shell, silent ventilation — and are working the day they are positioned to Switzerland.
The SoloKabin™ (1–2 people) fits a garage corner; the DuoKabin™ (up to 4) makes a full studio or shared office. Both are freestanding and reversible, carry a 5-year manufacturer warranty, and ship factory-direct from Dubai, priced in USD. For covered outdoor areas — a deep veranda, a barn, a warehouse — talk to our team about your placement before ordering.
Backyard & garden offices
Pod vs. backyard build — the honest comparison.
A fraction of the cost
From AED 15,000 (≈ $4,084) factory-direct — typically well under half the all-in cost of a compliant backyard build.
Indoor by design
Pods are engineered for indoor and covered spaces — garage, loft, warehouse, veranda. For open-air placement, ask us first.
The same quiet
−35 dB speech privacy delivers the separation people actually want from a garden office.
It moves when you move
A backyard building stays with the house. A pod is an asset — disassemble, relocate, or resell it.
The range
Three pods, one acoustic standard.
| Pod | Capacity | External size | Acoustics | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SoloKabin™ | Phone booth · 1–2 people | 1250 × 1250 × 2300 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 15,000 ≈ $4,084 |
| DuoKabin™ | Meeting pod · up to 4 | 2200 × 1250 × 2300 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 20,000 ≈ $5,446 |
| TeamKabin™ | Meeting room · up to 8 | 2500 × 2000 × 2250 mm | −35 dB speech privacy | AED 27,000 ≈ $7,352 |

FAQ
Outdoor work pod in Switzerland — questions, answered.
Built to order in 3 weeks in our Dubai factory, packed container-ready and shipped 5–7 weeks with full export documentation. Door-to-door delivery is quoted for your exact address.
Ikabin pods are engineered for indoor and covered installation — inside a garage, loft, warehouse or under a solid roof — not for open-air, year-round weather exposure. Most buyers searching for a backyard office find an indoor pod solves the same problem (a quiet, separate room) faster and cheaper. For covered outdoor placements, contact our team to review your site first.
Speed, cost and reversibility. A pod installs in a day with no permits, foundations or trenched power, typically at a fraction of a compliant garden build's all-in cost — and it relocates with you instead of staying with the property.
Every pod carries a 5-year product warranty honoured directly by Ikabin as the manufacturer. Spare parts ship from our Dubai factory to your address, and our English-speaking engineers support your team by video call and WhatsApp.
