Prefab pods
Small prefab office building in Austria.
Prefab done properly: a complete soundproof room out of the container, delivered to Austria in weeks.
- Built in 3 weeks
- −35 dB speech privacy
- 5-year warranty
In brief
Factory-direct, not freight-forwarded.
Site-built rooms inherit the site's problems: scheduling, trades, tolerances, snag lists. A small prefab office building inverts that — the room is manufactured under factory conditions, with jigs, QC stations and the same hands building every unit, then delivered to Austria as panelised, container-ready kit that two people assemble in place.
Ikabin has built 470+ pods this way. The payoff is predictability: 3 weeks from order to dispatch, a fixed factory-direct price in USD, and an acoustic spec (−35 dB) that is tested in the factory rather than hoped for on site.
Prefab pods
Why factory-built beats site-built.
3 weeks, reliably
A controlled production line means a date you can plan an office move around.
Container-ready packaging
Panelised units packed for ocean freight, assembled in place by two people in hours.
Acoustics tested before shipping
−35 dB speech privacy is verified in the factory, where it can be measured — not promised on site, where it can't.
Built on jigs, not on site
Factory tolerances and QC stations produce the same pod every time — no site variables, no snag list.
The range
Three pods, one acoustic standard.

FAQ
Small prefab office building in Austria — questions, answered.
Everything is manufactured and integrated in our Dubai factory — structure, acoustic glass, insulation, wiring, lighting and ventilation — then shipped as panelised, container-ready units. On site, two people assemble the pre-built panels in place in hours; nothing is fabricated at your location.
Structurally it is typically better: an engineered steel-alloy frame with factory tolerances, versus site drywall. Acoustically there is no contest — pods are tested to −35 dB speech privacy in the factory; site-built rooms are rarely tested at all.
3 weeks of production, then shipping (5–7 weeks), then same-day installation: position the pod, connect one power point, done. Compare that with a 2–4 month fit-out for an equivalent built room.
Yes — single-unit export orders are welcome. Many clients pilot one pod and then scale to multi-pod or container orders; per-unit pricing improves with volume, but there is no minimum.
Yes. Pods ship with standard internal wiring for lighting, ventilation and outlets, terminating at a single connection point. Your electrician connects the pod to the building supply on site — typically under an hour per pod.
