Normally no. A pod is freestanding furniture-grade equipment, not a structural alteration — it is not fixed to the building, so in most jurisdictions and most leases it needs no permit and no landlord consent. Confirm your local rules, but this is exactly why companies choose pods over built rooms.
It is a prefabricated, soundproofed room for workplaces: an enclosed booth with acoustic glass, ventilation, lighting and power, placed inside an existing space. Ikabin builds three sizes — a 1–2 person phone booth, a 4-person meeting pod and an 8-person meeting room — all with −35 dB speech privacy.
We quote in clear terms — typically DAP or similar — so the cost split is explicit before you order. Import duties and taxes are normally the buyer's responsibility; your customs broker can confirm the treatment for UAE-origin goods, and we supply every document they need.
